Gokarna Yatra is a holy Yatra in the memory of Lord Shiva who emerged from a cow’s ear and that is why the name of this village is Gokarna which is located at the meeting point of the two rivers Gangavali and Agnashini in the Uttara Kannada district of the Karnataka state.
