popular Yatra since the ancient time when the Sadhus and Sants make their Yatra in their search for divine and salvation located at the misty heights of holy Garhwal Himalayas in the state of Uttaranchal. The Char Dham Yatra first of all takes to the westernmost shrine of Yamunotri in the Garhwal Himalayas which is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and is situated opposite to Gangotri. After Gangotri Yatra, Char Dham Yatra takes to Gangotri Temple which is the picturesque pilgrimage and the most sacred spot where Ganga touched earth for the first time. After Gangotri Yatra, Char Dham Yatra takes to the Kedarnath Yatra along with picturesque mountain capes where Kedarnath Temple is situated lying above the sea level on the head of river Mandakani.
