Arrive New Jalpai Guri Railway Station or Bagdogra airport and Transfer to Darjeeling (94 kms/03 hrs). Night stay at Darjeeling.
 Day 02/Darjeeling Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for the sight seeing of Darjeeling covering Parmesan Nadia Himalayan Zoological park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Ropeway, Tensing -- Gumbo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center , Tea Estate, Lebong Race Course , Peace Pagoda. & Rock Garden – Gangamaya Park.Night stay in Darjeeling.
Day 03 /Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning Excursion to Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery & Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for Mirik Lake via Nepal Border. Night stay in Darjeeling.
Day 04/Darjeeling-Gangtok
Early Breakfast drive to Gangtok.Arrive & transfer to Hotel .Later proceed for the sightseeing of Gangtok covering Directorate of Handicrafts and Handlooms, Enchey Monastery, Research Institute of Tibetology, Chorten ( Stupa ), Orchid Sanctuary, Rumtek Monastery.Night stay in Gangtok.
Day 05 /Gangtok-Lachung
Pick- up from hotel at Gangtok at about 10 a.m.& proceed to Lachung (115 Km) at an altitude of 8,600 ft.Enroute visit Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungstok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen chu and Lachung Chu at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls.Arrive Lachung at Late afternoon in the evening & transfer to hotel .Night stay in Lachung.
Day 06/Lachung-Yumthang -Lachung
After breakfast proceed for Yumthang ( 11,800 ft. )Enroute Visit the famous hot spring. Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In April/ May /June the valley erupts in a riot of colours as Rhododendrons, Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers are in full bloom. In the winter months, Yumthang is somber with snow all around, and the anow clad mountains adding to the ethereal beauty. Return to hotel. After lunch visit Lachung Monastery, Cottage Industry and Waterfalls. Night stay in Lachung.
 Day 07/ Lachung - Gangtok-
After breakfast leave for Gangtok. Enroute stop between singhik , Mangan and if the weather is clear ,get the Khangchendzonga Range. This location offers a majestic view of Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt. Khangchendzonga and Mt. Siniolchu. After lunch , visit Phodong Monastery Night stay in Gangtok.
Day 08/Excursion trip to Thshangu Lake
After breakfast proceed for the sight seeing of Thshangu Lake (12400 ft.)& Baba Mander.Night stay in Gangtok
Day 09/Gangtok-Bagdodra
After breakfast check out from the Hotel & transfer to Bagdogra airport or NJP Rlw Station for flight /train for onward destination. |
