New Zealand is located in the south west Pacific consists of two main islands north and south island. In addition, Stewart Island and many smaller islands lie offshore. Islan in
North consists of mountain ranges running through the middle, with farmland soft
rolling on both sides. More than 20 percent of New Zealand is covered in national parks, fields and forest reservations. Our 14 national parks contain an incredible variety of landscape and vegetation intact. Administered and maintained by the Department of Te Atawhai father of conservation, these parks have the means of a wide variety of activities including rising, making mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding, kayaking and trout fishing. Most national parks have excellent routes and increase campants equipment, including nearly 1000 huts throughout the country. You can also find information centres in these parks, and helpful signage along the tracks. |
