Shikarbadi was originally a hunting lodge frequented by the royalty of Mewar. This Royal Retreat, is set amidst the serene, wooded Aravalis at only 15 minutes from the City Palace. For wildlife and adventure buffs, there is a licensed Deer Park and also a provision for horseback excursions into the sanctuary and the Aravali hills where one can spot Deer, Antelope, Wild boar, Monkey and the Nilgai.

Banquet & Conferences
At Risala, the restaurant at Shikarbadi Hotel, groups of fifty to 150 guests can be served for banquets, special dinners, parties and wedding celebrations; upto 300 guests for buffet style dining.
The Fountain Lawns can accommodate larger groups of 30 to 60 guests.
The Poolside Lawns are a perfect venue for small groups of twelve to 20 guests who may relish the special dinners and family parties here.
Groups of 30 to 50 guests can be served anywhere in the Shikarbadi Sanctuary.

Groups of upto 35 guests can enjoy the solitude and splendour of Shikarbadi's natural environment.
Amlee ro Darikhana is also an open-air venue at Shikarbadi Hotel. It is at the edge of the sanctuary and can accommodate 30 to 60 guests for special dinners.
