On arrival at Cairo, Transfer to hotel, day free for leisure, overnight stay at hotel.

Cairo is the capital city of Egypt and sits on the East bank of the River Nile.After breakfast, depart for a full day guided tour of Giza and Cairo. Here you’ll see the world famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycrenos and their guardian Sphinx; these are amongst the most impressive man-made spectacles in the world. Later, visit the Khan el Khalili bazaar.This is one of the most historic markets in the world, founded by the Emir Djaharks El- Khalili in 1382. Lastly, visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can learn about the 4000-year-old Egyptian civilisation, including the history of the treasures of Tutankhamun. In the evening, take an overnight sleeper train to Aswan, on which you’ll be provided with a continental dinner.

In the early morning, enjoy breakfast on board the train, before arriving in Aswan. On arrival, you’ll proceed to the Nubian Museum, High Dam and the Philae temple by motor boat. In the late morning, you’ll check in to your luxury Nile cruise ship (embarkation is before lunch so you may have to wait until your cabin is ready before checking in) where you’ll be spending your next 3 nights.After checking in, enjoy your lunch on board, and then sail along the Nile on a felucca around Kitchener’s Island and Mausoleum of Agha Khan.After dinner on board the ship, sail on to Kom Ombo.

After breakfast on board the ship, you’ll visit the Kom Ombo temple, which is shared by two Gods, Sobek and Horus. Sobek is known as the crocodile god.The river here was full of crocodiles until early this century.After lunch, enjoy the afternoon on board your cruise ship and sail for Edfu.

After breakfast on board the ship, visit the Temple of Edfu, which remains in perfect condition. Later, return to the ship, enjoy your meal and then sail to Luxor.The evening will be free for your relaxation.

In the early morning, you’ll enjoy your breakfast on board the train before arriving in Cairo. On arrival, you’ll be transported to your hotel. (Check in time subject to availability).The rest of the day is free for shopping and exploring.
