A major attraction in Jamshedpur is the flower show in December, which attracts many tourists to the colorful world of flowers and plants. The major festivals conducted with processions and other celebrations are Deepavali (October), Holi(February / March), Durga Puja or Dussehra in October, Makar Sankranti in January, Christmas (December), and Id-ul-fitr in March. All are celebrated with much enthusism.
