Bandhavgarh climate is mixed with temperatures ranging between the extremes 42°C and 2°C. Summers during March to May are very dry and scorching with hot sun, the Monsoon seasons from June to November are accompanied with heavy showers. Winters are the pleasant season here during December to February, with cool climate all through.

The park is closed from July to October.

Bandhavgarh being the renowned spot for wildlife watching and summer (March to June) provides ample opportunity for spotting many wildlife including tigers and leopards. During this season one can beautifully capture the best movements of wildlife in the camera. Climate wise November to March is ideal.
