Guru Ke Mahal Travel

The core of the Sikh religion is the sacred book Grantha Sahib and their gurus. Guru ke Mahal, as the name denotes, is the dwelling places of these great gurus of the Sikhs. Originally raised as a humble hut by Guru Ram Das in 1573, it was modified and redecorated by Guru Hargobind and Arjun Dev.

Now this residential building has been shaped in the form of a shrine, with the Guru Granth Sahib placed in a hefty rectangular foyer. In addition to the every day services, Guru ka Langar and special divan are held on the first Sunday of a Bikrami month.
