The present temple was founded by Shri Prabhudatt Brahmachariji about 50 years ago. At that time it was a very small temple. On 16th November 1987 Brahmacharijee himself took the initiative to renovate it and as a result today the temple is a grand structure of marble 108 feet high with work still going on. On entering the main gate (singh dwar) of the temple premises, one has to move straight and the turn right to find the entrance to the Garbh Griha that is the place where the idol of Lalita Devi is placed.
On the left side of the main gate is the temple of Laliteshwar Mahadeva which is devoted to Lord Shiva and on the right hand side is a newly constructed temple of Lord Hanuman. Adjacent to the Laliteshwar Mahadev temple is a "Yagya Kund", which is covered by a very old " Peepal Tree " . Outside the main temple premises is Pandav-Koop(a well), which is believed to be dugged by Arjun using his arrow.
Besides this well there are two temples devoted to Lord Bhairav and Lord Hanuman. It is believed that after the worship of Maa Lalita one has to worship Lord Bahirav also, then only the wishes of the devotees come true
