Alibag is a tourist destination for all seasons. Cooler climate prevails during the winters from November to February; temperature reaches nearly 14°C during this season. Summers from March to July are warm with a maximum of 36°C. Monsoon season accompanied by frequent downpours are naturally very attractive here.

Religious festival Ganesh Chaturthi coinciding in September is celebrated here with much enthusiasm. October – November hosts Deepavali, the celebration of lights with much illumination and fanfare.

Alibag can be visited any time of the year, best months to visit are September to March, especially the cooler winters.
